Anyway, back in 2002, my wife and I were getting ready for our honeymoon.

We were going to WDW, of course, and flying out of Colorado Springs on a sunday morning. The ONLY way we could get to WDW on Sunday was with the following itinerary:

    1) fly from COS to Denver
    2) fly from Denver to Los Angeles
    3) fly from Los Angeles (non-stop) to Orlando

    Does that make sense?

anyway, while on our layover in LA, we volunteered to be bumped. We had hoped to stay one day in CA so we could get in Disneyland, and then on Monday get to WDW.

Wouldn't that be sweet being in two Disney parks on back to back days 3 time zones apart? Taht would ROCK!

Alas, it did not happen...but we had fun nonetheless!

Quite a week for them. The winner of the contest got to invite 92 of her closest friends. The school, to take pressure off her, invited the 92 top GPA students and my brother slipped in.

Still, to be able to say that you stood on both Main Streets in the same day 3,000 miles apart??? Still has to be an ultra cool feeling for anyone who has done it!

I've done three Disney parks back to back to back, covering 13 time zones. ;)

(although technically speaking it was in a span of 4 days, since you lose an entire day in the air heading west over the international dateline...going the OTHER way I could've done the same thing, all three parks, in just TWO days lol).

Starting from the Tokyo Disney Resort and working mostly Eastwards, you could enjoy a full day in the Tokyo Resort and then head for your airport hotel for an early morning flight to Hong Kong which would get you to the park by lunchtime (you don't need a full day in THAT place anyway lol). Still on day 2, you could head to the airport for a late night flight (departing at 11pm or later) in order to arrive in Paris at 8 o'clock in the morning on day 3. Spend the day enjoying EuroDisneyland to your hearts content, and then head back to your airport hotel for a much needed rest before day 4.

Day 4, unfortunately *, would be a travel day requiring an AM departure for a late PM arrival in Florida.

Day 5, DisneyWorld. Stay til closing but then head back to your airport hotel quick cause you have an early flight to...

Day 6, ANAHEIM, arriving in time to dine at Club 33 for a late lunch reservation in the original Magic Kingdom! :D

    * unfortunately because back when the Concorde was still flying you could've left in the early morning from Paris and ARRIVED in the early morning in NYC, with a quick 2 hour flight to Orlando getting you THERE by lunchtime and thus making the Disney world tour possible in only FIVE days...unfortunately that's no longer an option (not like anyone would attempt it anyway though, right? :p).

No special story to tell. I was at Epcot on the first day. Flew out early the next day and was at Disneyland for the day (arrived around mid-afternoon). Flew out to Tokyo the next afternoon and was at Tokyo Disneyland upon arrival (that would officially be "day four", but for me it was three long days!) for a while (a very tired while lol). :)

The schedule was entirely work related, nothing amazing about it...but even so, yes I was able to have some fun in three parks in three time zones in a short space of time. :)

The REALLY cool story was from WorldDisney (is he even around anymore!?)...he joined me at DisneySea after having been in Disneyland just a couple of days before, so he got to ride Indy in Anaheim and then Indy in Tokyo with a fresh memory.

I remember him remarking, ON THE RIDE, that yeah, the Tokyo version really *is* better! ;p

Did that include waiting in line? Or were they part of a special club or something?

Riding a bunch of coasters in a day, using the back door, ain't no thing.

Slogging through the lines is the hard part lol.

***I think I'm getting too old for that kind of thing***

    Aren't we all.

It started with Revolution at Magic Mountain, then headed down through southern California, hitting all the parks along the way, and ending with a woodie on a seaside pier somewhere (San Diego?). It was all during regular park hours, with no fancy treatment, other than using a FP for Space Mountain to double-up on time for California Screamin'. He did it on an off-season weekday so the crowds weren't too bad, but I still can't imagine how much driving they did that day!
