Benoit was supposed to be more stable than most. Authorities unfortunately suspect murder/suicide.

I then saw the on-air tributes and was shocked. Two years ago Eddie Guerrero passed away (I was at the 2003 No Way Out pay-per-view in San Francisco), and last year Bam Bam Bigelow (Scott Bigelow) and Earthquake (John Tenta) also passed away. When I saw the graphic that Chris AND his family were dead, I thought it was a plane or car crash. When I heard that they were found outside the home, I thought of either foul play or a gas leak of some sort. It was shocking and saddening to hear that it was a murder-suicide.

Maybe it's time for the WWE to start looking inward at their own policies. Something Vince McMahon probably won't do.

Authorities are saying Beniot strangled his wife, smothered his son, and then later hung himself. Wow.

The stories while a little more advanced were somewhat clever. Vince McMahon was made the villian, something not to hard since he's a very unlikeable person. Then the storylines started to become stale and my interest waned. Plus I had issue with the content or more importantly who they are marketing to. And that market included a lot of children. Wrestling as it exists today is mainly for older teens and adults. As for the Benoit situation, may his wife and son rest in piece, but he might not want to pack a jacket to wear he's going.
