So the USPS will not deliver the 3"x5" cards Disney is requiring. And before anyone suggests sticking an index card in an envelope, please notice the rules require that the card have postage attached. So, unless Disney relaxes its policy on the size of the cards, or the USPS changes its minimum size for mailing, I see only one option: Get a 3"x5" card, affix postage (now you've met Disney's requirements) THEN put it in an envelope, put on the proper postage (to meet USPS's requirements) and send it in, hoping that the people handling the entries don't throw out your envelope unopened because it doesn't conform to what they are expecting. Does anyone know more about this? Any inside information or insights would be appreciated since I live too far from Disneyland to spend the next year trying out different lines and benches hoping for my Dream-of-a-Lifetime lanyard.

I think that Disney will still accept the 3.5 by 5.5 cards, but better safe than sorry. If you trim, make sure that you do NOT trim more than a half inch, as the postcard must be at least 3.5 by 5 to be accepted.
