And in a complete change of pace, I really like Jars of Clay but I wouldn't call myself a fan of the Christian Rock/Pop genre. So what are some of yours?

I suppose I would go with:

I like the Prodigy, but don't like dance music.

I also like Rage Against the Machine, but I don't like Rap

I also love Alicia Keys but am not a huge fan of most of her music or that genre.

I think most bands can do at least one song that I will like.

Go ahead and cry unashamedly. It beats England Dan and John Ford Coley's 'It's Sad to Belong to Someone Else [when the right one comes along]'

Hello, yeah, it's been a while.
    Not much, how about you?
I'm not sure why I called.
I guess I really just wanted to talk to you.

And I was thinking maybe later on.
We could get together for a while.
It's been such a long time.
And I really do miss your smile.

*I'm not talking about moving in.
And I don't want to change your life.
But there's a warm wind blowing, the stars are out.
And I'd really love to see you tonight.

We could go walking through a windy park.
Or take a drive along the beach.
Or stay at home and watch TV.
You see it really doesn't matter much to me.( * )

    I won't ask for promises.
So you don't have to lie.
We've both played that game before.
Say I love you and say goodbye.( * )

John Denver, Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers too, but they're "crossover" artists.

Britney Spears is a tabloid fascination at times and she's cute on SNL reruns, but I have no interest in buying her albums or seeing her shows... I do have "Toxic" on my iPod, though.

Where's Shakira come in? Not sure what her genre is... LOL. But I have "Hips Don't Lie" on there, too.

My iPod is one big, bizarre mish-mosh (I've posted examples before)... If my friends ever sat down and listened to all of my iPod music - shuffled is my favorite way to listen - they'd only confirm what they've known all along. I'm weird. ;-)

I just set up a new blog the other day and think it might be fun to throw it all out there.
