    1) I have never stayed "off property" before. I think i'm spoiled, because i can't help but think of all the minuses (is that a word) associated with this. two right off the top of my head:
    a)driving/parking
b)not being able to go back and forth
    to my resort quickly/easily
2.) I have never been to disney when schools were out or it was really hot. we normally go october/november. the hottest i've ever been is the first weekend of SWW (May)--and i thought i was going to DIE. I hate the heat!! the trip is planned for the last week in june, first weekend in july. non-negotiable. that sounds really really hot, and again this brings to mind the whole hotel being so far away thing.

But, it is a free (hotel) trip to disney.
So any advice about staying off property,
how hot it actually is, and what Cypress pointe II is like would be greatly appreciated.
    THANKS!

Beautiful pools within short distance (I remember seeing 3)along with putt-putt, shuffle board, tennis and basketball. All recreation equipment supplied but you had to get it from the main house. Our room was clean with a huge roman tub.

WDW--it is the same, they built a new section to sell as timeshares.
