Saturday at Comic-Con tends to be one of the busiest days at the convention. Not only is it the weekend but it seems to be the day that everyone heads to Hall H to catch the cream of the crop when it comes to panels.
As far as Disney goes, there are really only two panels to discuss, but one was big and the other was absolutely massive! So let's get to it:
Once Upon a Time
ABC's fan favorite Once Upon a Time is returning for its sixth season this fall and so, naturally, a visit to San Diego for Comic-Con was a necessity. If you're not caught up, we'll avoid spoilers (for those, visit our Twitter), but one thing you can look forward to next season is the seeing Aladdin and Jafar in Storybrooke. Also of note, when asked about what other characters they'd like to see join the show, some of the cast's suggestions included Han Solo, Indiana Jones, Darth Vader, the Three Little Pigs, and Annie.
Marvel Studios
Alright, are you comfortable? Becuase we have a lot to cover here. Not only did we get cast confirmations and new posters/trailers, but we even got some major Disney Parks news thrown in for good measure.
First, the studio has a new logo and new logo sequence that will play in front of future films. Even better, the new clip was scored by none other than Michael Giacchino:

Next, we learned some of the other cast that will join Chadwick Boseman in Black Panther. Michael B. Jordan (as Erik Killmonger), Lupita Nyong’o (as Nakia), and Danai Gurira (as Okoye) were some of the actors announced for this anticipated film.
Up after that amazing cast, Benedict Cumberbatch took the stage to introduce some of this costars including Tilda Swinton, Rachel McAdams, Mads Mikkelsen, and Benedict Wong. We were also treated to a brand new poster and trailer for the film which is coming out this November:
As for Thor: Ragnarok, a new logo was revealed for the film that kind of makes it look like an 80's video game. Unfortunately, while a fake documentary showing what Thor was up to during the events of Civil War screened for the audience, that footage has not yet been released to the public *sigh*
While all of that was exciting, the film with the most news to break was Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. The entire cast, including Disney Legend Kurt Russell who has joined this time around, and director James Gunn talked briefly about the next installment and showed some footage. Michael Rooker also showed up in full Yondu makeup/attire while the Ravagers caused a ruckus on stage. But the big announcement was that the Guardians are coming to Disney California Adventure. Guardians of the Galaxy — Mission: Breakout will replace the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror in the park next summer with more Marvel promised to head to the park in the future! (Joe Rohde, the Imagineer behind the project, was also spotted in Hall H.)
Also in attendance at the panel was your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man who dropped by to tease his upcoming film Spider-Man: Homecoming. The lucky crowd got to see some footage and it was hinted that Vulture will be the villain this time around.
Lastly, we now know who will play Captain Marvel: Brie Larson. The Academy Award-winning actress will portray the fan favorite when the film comes to theatres in 2019.
