I love to write and I love all things Disney. A few years ago, I started working on an idea that combines my passions. It is a story that features a young boy who stumbles into a situation that is above his head, and with the help of others he survives and saves the day. The best part — it takes place in Walt Disney World.

My novel, Knights of the Kingdom: A Heroic Adventure at Walt Disney World, is the story of a young boy named Will Clark who learns that the items that create the classic Disney stories might actually be real. It seems that Walt Disney came into possession of the real Aladdin’s lamp and kept it safe from Nazi control all during World War II. Roy Disney buried the lamp at the opening of Walt Disney World in 1971, and now over forty years later Will Clark has stumbled onto the key to the vault that holds the lamp. All he has to do is follow the trail of clues that Roy left to find the lamp and keep it safe, because Will is not alone on this quest, bad guys are afoot.

My childhood was filled with multiple trips to Disney World, and I am beginning to repeat those trips now with my own children. I wrote this book so that all children can experience an adventure at Walt Disney World, even when they can’t be there.

Not until Ridley Pearson’s Kingdom Keepers did I finally find a book that took me on a new adventure at a place I knew so well, and loved so much. So if you are looking for a short adventure at Walt Disney World, let me be your guide with Knights of the Kingdom: A Heroic Adventure at Walt Disney World.
