As November starts, the Magic Kingdom is transformed into a Winter Wonderland on select nights for the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. These parties are separate ticketed events and take place from 7pm - 12am (TIP- guest can get in as early as 4pm to enjoy the park before the event.)MVMCP is a long running staple of the Magic Kingdom and still has the fun characters all around the park, but the lines can get long so choose your characters wisely. I saw lines that went up to 2 hours for Sandy Claws as well as newcomers Nick and Judy from Zootopia.
Also returning this year is Club Tinsel, this dance club takes over most of the lower level of Comic Ray's Starlight Cafe. This year joining the DJ is a reindeer and some of Santa's elf friends. Tomorrowland has two fun shows on the Rockettower Plaza Stage near Carousel of Progress, A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas and VoicePlay.A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas is a character driven show with some amazing dancing and fun puns from our host Haley Comet. She is joined by Buzz Lightyear, Mike Wazowski, and everyones favorite Santa Stitch.VoicePlay is an a cappella group that really brings the fun Holiday music to life. They feature some amazing range while bringing to life the classic Chipmunk Christmas tune "Christmas Don't Be Late" and my personal favorite the theme from National Lampoons Vacation "Holiday Road."
Of course one of the mainstays of Mickey's Very Merry Chrismas Party is the hot cocoa and sugar cookies, but this year they expanded the options to include Egg Nog and a snow cone!
Also new this year is Mickey's Most Merriest Celebration stage show in front of Cinderella Castle. This show is a perfect addition to the party bringing more characters and contemporary fun to the stage.
Returning are the two must sees of the MVMCP, Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade and the best way to end any holiday party Holiday Wishes.
