Various sources are reporting that an armed man carrying two handguns was arrested at a hotel at Disneyland Paris.

A Disney spokesperson did not have any information at this time.

No injuries have been reported.

UPDATED 8:52 a.m. PT:
RTL is reporting that he also had an ammunitions cartridges and a small Koran. He did have a reservation at the hotel. They have placed the suspect into custody, placed a perimeter around his vehicle and are actively looking for his companion.

UPDATE 9:01 a.m. PT:
Additional reports indicate that the arrest was made at Disneyland Paris' Hotel New York after his bag set off the hotel's metal detectors. It is also being reported that the suspect is a 28-year-old man. Here is a map showing Hotel New York with the rest of the resort area.

UPDATE 9:10 a.m. PT:
It is now being reported that the female companion of the original suspect has been found and arrested.

UPDATE 9: 24 a.m. PT:
CNN is reporting that bomb disposal experts are currently inspecting the suspect's vehicle. They also note that police are currently handling the case and that the Paris prosecutor's counter-terrorism department is not involved at this time.

UPDATE 10:02 a.m. PT:
Disneyland Paris has released a statement:

"During a routine security screening checkpoint at one of our hotels, weapons were discovered in a guest's luggage, through our x-ray machine. The police were immediately notified and the individual was arrested. We continue to work closely with the authorities; and the safety and security of our guests and cast members is our utmost priority"

A similar message can now be seen when visiting DisneylandParis.com:

"During a routine security screening, weapons were discovered in a guest’s luggage as he was about to enter one of our hotels. The zone was immediately cordoned off, police were summoned and the individual was arrested. We continue to work closely with authorities and stress that the safety of our guests and that of our employees is our highest priority. The normal activities of our holiday destination continue as usual."

UPDATE 2:25 p.m. PT:
New reports indicate the women arrested earlier in connection with the incident was actually not the one police were looking for. The whereabouts of female who disappeared when the male suspect was arrested are still unknown at this time.

Additionally, police are now saying the suspect told them that he was carrying the guns for his own protection.
