In fact,considering how long it's been since Peterson created Elvira,I'm surprised that some other young woman with aspirations of stardom hasn't restyled herself into a new incarnation of a mistress of the dark! I wish I could remember where I saw it,or even the name of the artist;several years ago,possibly in the pages of Juxtapoz,I saw a painting depicting Nurmi/Vampira,waiting patiently by the side of the road,where James Dean met his untimely demise!
