    I LOVED Vampira! I didn't know this was her real name. I also didn't realize she was that old.

    In fact,considering how long it's been since Peterson created Elvira,I'm surprised that some other young woman with aspirations of stardom hasn't restyled herself into a new incarnation of a mistress of the dark!
    I wish I could remember where I saw it,or even the name of the artist;several years ago,possibly in the pages of Juxtapoz,I saw a painting depicting Nurmi/Vampira,waiting patiently by the side of the road,where James Dean met his untimely demise!
