In my day, we had teh Peanuts characters, and they sounded pretty much like kids. Minnesota kids, and they didn't scream until they reached anger level "ARRRGH!" But DORA... my gosh, between her and the insufferable Caillou, the two of them are always shouting, as if preschoolers are completely dense. "Look, a tree! Do you see the tree? It's a TREE!" The larger question is why I have seen any of this programming or let it upset me so, but that's a job for my shrink.
