At best, a M&G will get ~400 guests per hour (~100 groups of 4 people each), but that's pushing it. When the locals come to the Halloween parties to focus on the M&Gs, that will artificially inflate your wait time; even if a small percentage of the total party attendees visit any specific M&G, the total wait time will be borderline ridiculous considering the total length of the party. There's really very little Disney can do to increase the capacity without compromising show integrity (with the rare exception of locations like Stormtroopers, where there's no danger in having multiple visible locations), so it's always curious to me that Disney puts so much emphasis on them

It would be tough to coordinate a M&G with the show schedule though, since they're so frequent Although I've never waited in it, the photo op during runDisney races with Darth Vader and 2 Stormtroopers at DL always has the longest queue of any of the races I've run. I don't get it, but they sure are popular. I'm excited, curious, and somewhat scared of the lines to see who they bring out for the Star Wars Half Marathon at DL in January. There's usually a decent cast at Star Wars Weekends in WDW, so I'm hoping to see some rare-ish characters (and I would love to get another photo with an Ewok; my first one didn't turn out so well)

I know I am part of a diminishing minority on this, but that is the way I am. The only part I might ever want to go for is the special fireworks show. I watched it this year at WDW from the Top of the World Lounge, and it was spectacular.
