Hans, it's true: we like you, we really like you! You just need to form an oh-so-graceful acceptance speech to make it seem like it was a surprise that you won our hearts! : )

My daughter found it on YouTube, and when I heard it, I KNEW I had to find a place to interject it into conversation. LOL It cracks me up everytime I listen to it!

LP has trouble parsing https addresses. That's why they break. (LP is stuck in the internet stone age.) If you delete the "s", the link will usually still work and be clickable. It is nothing but a blown-up cartoon image, and completely awful as an icon for anything, much less for MGM or Hollywood. Good riddance.

It looks almost identical to the one at DHS so I don't see how you can consider it better. I think we are talking about different things. I am talking about the "gate area", where you buy tickets, go through security and get in to the park. You seem to be talking of the initial area you see after entering the park.

The DHS entrance has ticket booths as part of its structure. DCA's design is much more sleek and inviting without the ticket booths, IMHO. It also feels more grand, somehow. It took the best elements used at DHS and used them in a much better way.

And although I like the Pan Pacific look, it doesn't really fit in with BVS. BVS uses earth tones and mostly mission-inspired architecture; the streamline moderne structure doesn't really fit. Hollywood Blvd in WDW is much more art deco and has a more vibrant color pallet, so the sleek teal entry way is more connected

Yes. And the Pan Pacific also tells a story, which the elaborate but awkward "postcard" entrance attempted to do but failed.

You're right, but isn't incongruous relationship of architectural styles kind of thing in LA? Come to think of it, it's a thing at Disneyland.
