Where I think it falls short is the ride is ok for what it is but it misses the wonder that a Space pavillion could provide. A great opportunity to entertain AND educate that was lost.

I love the rain part of Pooh when the movement of the car makes it feel like you are floating. PoC and Haunted Mansion are in a league of their own. All these may be considered boring by some but for us they are the real reason we go to Disney. Oh yea and how could I forget GMR and the dinosaur scene in Ellen's Energy.

I am (was?) a huge fan of all things Epcot..including all the "boring" rides including SSE, Horizons, WoM, and all the rest (LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the land boat ride too)... BUT, unfortunately lots of people find those rides boring. I think it takes a true Disney fan to really appreciate them.

I was just dumbfounded. In my mind, she must have just been blown away...first time and all. But no. She wasn't. Faster. Better. Newer. Never mind story line or classic immersion, I guess. (I could've punched her, by the way. but instead I replied something like "yes, that's one of the rides Walt Disney had a hand in creating himself". Or something like that. (I know, Disney didn't actually live to see it completed and all that.....)

My son commented on how short the WDW PotC was.
