Australian men are cuter, dress better and are a whole more fun to ride Space Mountain with than those stuck up brits with poor sense of fashion, bad TV and gross fried food. But going back to topic here.. you all know the only reason for this hub redesign is to set aside prime viewing fireworks spots via fastpass+ for their hotel guests and same day visitors using the fastpass system, similar to the current system used at DCA for viewing WOC.

Even during moderate crowds the hub can become a real bottleneck. With seemingly non-stop performances of Celebrate! A Street Party, Dream Along with Micky, the parade, the projection show, and the fireworks, there's almost always something going on there, collecting crowds in the street to block traffic. If this gives a way to avoid that, then it sounds like an improvement to me DCA's WOC area and DL's ROA terraces aren't exactly beautiful during the day, but they're also not horrible. If they can find the balance of beauty and function for MK, it will be an improvement over what's there now. In the renderings, it looks like we might finally get some semi-large trees back in the hub, which can only be a good thing. Yes, it's more pavement and walkways, but that doesn't mean it can't be enjoyable too >>...and gross fried food.<< No such thing! All fried food is delicious. Welcome to America! : )

Even with more pavement and walkways, it looks well designed... with plenty of landscaping, flower beds, and even trees...all three are far more than what is there now. Plus, crowd control issues and walkways are desperately in need of being addressed (at DL too). It seems they are addressing both crowd control/flow issues, and well as working on aesthetics. With more walkways being added, if plenty of attention is given to solid, beautiful landscaping, that will be the key to pulling this off.
