    Classic.

I want to see the world's biggest yam ball. I wonder how it smells nowadays?

I've always wanted to do a big surprise like that for my kids, but I can't ever keep the secret for more than an hour or so. I HAVE to talk about it with them. Part of the fun is the excitement leading up to the trip!"

My husband and I managed to surprise our kids with a DL trip last August (it helped that they are generally oblivious to anything going on around them- we actually let things slip a number of times, but they didn't notice). We told them we were going to drive to Spokane (about 4 hours away) to visit my husband's aunt and uncle, whom they have never met. They were ecstatic when we told them we were heading to the airport instead, especially since the way we told them involved presents, but then my stepdaughter started to get upset. She thought we were just ditching DH's aunt and uncle and felt really bad. After we told her we were never really going to Spokane, and that Aunt and Uncle were not expecting us, she was very happy that she was going to DL instead of to visit some old people she didn't know :)

#22 - The organizer - someone who knows Disneyland very well but sacrifices his (or her) enjoyment in order to make it the best possible experience for his (or her) guests

#23 - The people watcher - someone who goes often enough so that he (or she) does not need to go on any rides but instead goes and observess human behavior in a quasi-perverse anthropological way and laughs at the stupid things people do and say

#24 - The fun guy - someone who spends as much time at Disney watering holes as he (or she) does roaming the parks. Having a few drinks before going on rides such as Snow White's Scary Adentures, Mark Twain, or Tower of Tower is the pinnacle of fun.

#25 - The clueless - Someone who wanders through Disneyland and wonders why some people get to go in the "special" fast line and calls Splash Mountain "the log ride" and Haunted Mansion "the haunted house". They come to hate Disneyland and blame Obama for everything.

I am often 22, 23 and 24 and wish violence on 25, especially after being 24 for a while.

For about a quarter-century, I was the rarest of all, the one not mentioned in the article, or in the list posted by "EighthDwarf,"

#26, the Patient Passholder who never puts up a fuss about what he can't do on any particular occasion, because he's already done it at least once before, and knows he can come back any time, and he knows he's already spending less per visit than almost anybody else there. #26 is also frequently mistaken for a CM by the less-savvy guests, and if asked how to find something, can give as good directions as any CM.

There are still some vestiges of #26's patience in me, and I still can give good directions in DL and DCA (and fair-to-middling directions in most of the WDW parks).

Speaking of #26, I am constantly being asked questions by people (even in everyday life). My family would joke that my picture was in the park guide that day. There could be fifty people around me and they come directly to me for parade, ride, etc. questions.
-I am the person you bring who will watch the kids while you go on rides.
-Sit it out if your disability pass doesn't allow your whole group to get on a ride.
-Go on rides I may be getting tired of, but it's your favorite, so why not?
-Constantly answer trivia and give out facts, even if I believe it should be basic knowledge that everyone should already know.

How can that be? There are only 21 types listed.
