Jack has become way too soft for me. 99% of the time character arc is a good thing, but I want Jack to be the dominant force he was. I want the Jack who said "I'm gonna need a hacksaw."

They've dealt with bomb scenarios (Morris personally), two presidental comas, numerous protocol changes, arrests, firings, and an invasion on CTU! And NONE of them seem tired and want to go home yet! Doesn't CTU have a different shift?? Am I wrong to believe that people work better when they are alert and refreshed? I know it's just a TV show, but it'd be more believable if these people were allowed some sort of a break. There's so many others there that seem to have no job what so ever.

Jack's brother was in cahoots with the father all along, and he even underestimated him - I don't expect he ever imagined that his father would kill him without batting an eye. Personally, I'm still enjoying the show. They've just announced that they've renewed the show for 2 more years (48 Hours, as I like to call it), so I'm definitely on board. /cs

As far as them working the entire 24 hour shift at CTU, I understand in a crisis state, you can't just send people home. But I think it's human nature to be a little exhausted towards the 20th hour.
