Why did they bother keeping Goofy's house when all they put in their is a sofa and a little piano? Why couldn't they add some more interactive type things in the house? For the garden they could of added alot more as well. Was the budget on this 5 dollars?
I guess the bright side is that this playground didn't take up real valuable real estate like the playground in WDW's magic kingdom.
The new regime has wowed us with lots of cool things, why did they drop the ball so badly here?

It's honestly as underwhelming in real life as it is in pictures. Couldn't they have added some more stuff to do?

I think it may come off as boring to us adults, but I think a lot of the time we forget who these "playgrounds" are targeted too and what this age group can do with a bit of imagination. =)

To let the young ones run and be hyper for 15 minutes while parents are able to take a quick break or choose their next ride or meal at disneyland instead of standing in the middle of the walkway with a squirmmy child telling him/her to hold still while mom and dad debate.

who knows maybe this playground will only be temporary until something else can be imagineered.

    just my two cents =)

It's cute, nicely designed, clever things to look at even for the adults.

I have been taking my kids and grandkids
to DL for over 30 years and have never felt the need to let them burn off steam somewhere. We are much too busy on the rides and other places that are unique to Disney.
When I have my grandkids and want them to play on foam toys we go to the mall for free.

This looks like a very blah offering, designed by people scared to death of being sued.

When we were kids, going to Disneyland was enough to blow off steam.

With these 'Toddler Steam Outlet Areas' perhaps Disneyland also needs:

A specially designed area for Grandparents and those over 65 to rest their feet?

Or a series of army cots for guys like 50 year old Uncle Ned to sleep off the 12 beers he quaffed at 'Avalon Cove'?

Or a special series of benches for the 20-something DINKS to look at the stroller set and say 'What-evehr!'
