Pooh's Hunny Hunt did something like that in Tokyo.

Maybe not 30%, I'm not sure of the actual damage done, but in any case THAT particular expediture drove attendance for at least a year or two.

BUT, for some reason, Disney still doesn't have faith in "if you build it, they will come".

By the way, did Indy help attendance for Disneyland back in 1995-96?

I'm not sure if it did, but I'm curious.

Suffice to say, building cheap-ass parks does NOT help the bottom line when they become embarrassments that don't even eek out the meager attendance they were supposed to (DCA/WDSP/HKDL failures all!).

Like the cheap-quels that saw the Disney brand name become a laughing stock amongst DVD buyers, DCA has become a three letter term for absolute lowest quality dreck.

Hell, when the Simpsons are saying they'd rather be in jail than at DCA, you have a problem!

Toy Story Land honestly is already getting bad reviews from guests and not just the Disney fans like us but also the causal disney guest who is not very familiar with the park.

Similar to Dinorama at DAK, there's just something about it that looks like it was designed with that in the back of their mind. I've read somewhere that the Dinorama portion of Dinoland USA could be completely taken out in 3-5 days so they could start construction on something else. I don't think they have any plans to replace it any time soon (or TSL for that matter), but just knowing that the option is there makes me feel a little better.
