My post was intended for the "glass is half empty crowd". Why don't some people just post their negativism elsewhere and leave the rest of us to enjoy this section of the LP board.

it is not a debate over who's better, it's name 3 things that make WDW better, if you can't - don't --

KT - every thread seems to turn into why DL is better than MK --

3 things to love about WDW:

    1. Epcot and DAK

Don't say that to disneywatcher... he'll accuse you of being too incompetent to tell the difference between a great Disney park and a poor one.

Plus, the CMs at DCA were friendlier than their MK counterparts and the park was much much cleaner and better maintained than the MK has been in recent times. One more thing: I love their water raft ride for it's themeing and fun factor, unlike the bland Kali. Like HKDL, there is a lot of potential with DCA if they choose to twick it, and I believe that will be happening soon since bulldozing it would be more costly.

Wow, well - it took a couple of years, but finally I disagree with you about something again, TDL! hehe DL alone over MK & D-MGM, sure, fine no prob. BUt the moment you add in Epcot or ESPECIALLY DAK, I'm going to turn down DL. Epcot alone, not better than DL, DAK alone not better than DL. But MK, the crappy D-MGM (where I only really enjoy WWtbaM-PI! & ToT), and Epcot or DAK push WDW over DL for me. Even if DCA is added in to the DL part of it.

Anyhow, I still adore you, just nice to see that after knowing you for so long and usually agreeing htat there are at least SOME things I disagree with you about when it comes to Disney. hehe

My favorite Disney attraction of all-time. Second favorite is the current version, though only because I have a VERY strong sentimental tie to the original.

Which is why, come heck or high water, I *WILL* be staying at the MiraCosta when DH & I venture to Tokyo in 2010. No ifs, ands, or buts. I'll sell a kidney to finance it if I have to! lol

Wow, really? I would choose the American Adventure of HoP... a more moving presentation, IMO.

I do agree that the original HoP was better.

I'd argue that it's less flawed than D-MGM. DCA has GRR, Soarin', CS, ToT, the MSEP (whatever its current name is), and low crowds. Beats the heck out of a park with WWtbaM, ToT, and an inferior Fantasmic!

Sentimental reasons, but NOTHING will ever take away from me what I took away from my first visit to the HoP with my father.

ANd now that I'm crying a bit, I'm gonna step outside and calm down. :)

Well.... I meant that wholeheartedly. And when you stay at the Miracosta...beware.. you may never see WDW in the same light again.
Anyways... I am on my way to Japan now to be at TDL's Cinderellabration/Princess Days 2006 opening day on the 17th.
    Ta-ta!!!
