Once you enter the que you are totally immersed in the attraction. The ride is the same way, it feels like you’re really in this western world all unto itself. I don’t think the fountains are the best idea however, as the Belagio’s fountains are pretty iconic to the casino. People were singing, laughing, clapping..the excitement was infectious! It was great!! Then at about 3am they moved us into California Adventure and we formed a line inside the park. Everywhere you looked there were sleeping bags, pillows, covers and people laying out everywhere throughout the park as we all waited for the early morning call into the magic kingdom. This is where I slept the most! Then at about 6am they started moving us into the happiest place on earth! This was the ultimate in any experience I have ever had...I past through the gates at about 7am..I walked past what looked like thousands of people in Disneylands regular lines who were cheering us on! Now it was time to leave the world of today and I was ready to enter...the magical world that is Disneyland! I got to Main street and it was a true red carpet experience. One in which I have never felt in my life before and one in which I will probably never feel again until I get to heaven. As we walked down Main Street (before the park was even opened to the public), there were dozens of cast members on each side of the street who were clapping for us and told us..."Welcome Home!!" It brought tears to my eyes..and all of us who were waiting for hours overnight to get into the park got to enjoy a nearly empty park for one hour before the gates were officially opened! Truly, the most amazing Disneyland experience in my life! 19) Is Tomorrowland "dated" to you? - Yes..Disneyland 'East' definitely needs more future type attractions and updates. They should bring the rocket rods back but with a newly designed and developed track with proper banks and dips for the speed..almost like 'test track' at Epcot. 20) Do you wish for the 50th to end? If so, why? If you want it to continue for quite some time, please explain why. - I have loved everything about the 50th..its been great. BUT, they need to bring Mr. Lincoln back!! I miss that show. 21) What is your favorite bird "host" in the Tiki Room? - Jose, of course! 22) Are you looking forward to the Pirate Refurb? Explain why or why not. - Im not sure about a major change in a classic Disney ride. To me..if it ain't broke, don't fix it. But, I believe that WDI will do a good job to keep the magic of the original ride but to enhance it a bit. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. 23) Out of all 3 Hotels at the Disneyland Resort, which one is your most favorite? - I've never stayed in one but the Grand Californian looks beautiful. I love the Disneyland Hotel for its 'vintage-ness'..its been there since Walt! 24) Are you ready for the Disneyland Castle to go back to normal (aka no crowns, jewels, or other adornments)? - I love the 50th castle, so I'm in no rush for it to go back to normal but when it does, I'll still love it. Besides, if I start to miss the crowns and jewels at all, I'll just stare at my 50th Castle Big Fig!! 25) Do you miss the Bounce House in Toon Town(now closed)? - No. 26) Do you miss the old bronze color of Space Mountain, or are you glad it is white again? Explain. - Space Mountain is best when it is white! Thats the classic color and thats how it looks the best, especially at night when it glows! 27) Are you looking forward to the new Nemo attration coming to the Submarine Lagoon? - Should be an interesting ride, however I did like the original one. I'm not sure about gearing attractions after movies (unless your talking Indiana Jones..thats always classic), but I just hope in ten years, the Nemo theme on the ride will still be interesting. 28) Is Fantasmic! your favorite night-time show at Disneyland? Why or why not? - Nothing will ever top the traditional fireworks show over the castle spires with tinkerbell flying overhead! Fantasmic is a beautiful show and should continue but nothing beats the original night time show! 29) Do you think Disneyland will ever have an EPCOT? - They almost made a "Westcot" center (Disney's west coast epcot center) where California Adventure now stands, but plans fell through. It actually looked like it would have been nice, especially the longer monorail ride through it. But, unless more land is cleared around Disneyland, it doesn't look like its going to happen. 30) Do you think DCA needs a Bellagio-type fountain in the Paradise Pier Bay area? - I think that would look beautiful and maybe incorporate an evening water/light show with it. Kind of like at the World Fairs..that would be really nice.
