On the other hand Tokyo Disneyland has a full blown Easter celebration with park wide decor, special food and merchandise, and an excellent brand new full high energy parade with show mode that puts this little corny act at the Magic Kingdom to full bloody shame. And the japanese dont even celebrate easter. SHAME WDW.

But apart from that fact, you are also correct. This particular costume was first seen at TDL's Happiness is Here parade since April 15th, 2013. Whether it is a cost cutting measure, well.. who knows, TDR is doing just that as well much to my dissatisfaction. But like much of the quality that is being copied from Tokyo down here in good old (emphasize OLD) MK park, this particualr costume is just one of the many things that Tokyo had and then were replicated in Orlando. Just like the two so called "new floats" in the Festival od Dreams parade which are actually 6 years old floats from TDL's Jubilation.. or how the music from TDL's 20th anniversary castle show "Gift of Dreams" is still being heard 27 times daily at the MK Castle show to this day... and there are other things they have stolen from Tokyo.. compliments of OLC. Or maybe OLC sold it to the MK? Who knows except that brit guy who works for disney.
