The virus that causes Chicken Pox can remain dormant in a persons system for years and has the potential for reactivating as a secondary infection (shingles) at a later date. It most commonly affects older adults or people with weak immune systems.

I had the feeling some people misunderstood the reason why I posted this. 4000 posts is actually very modest compared to some other posters. I was really shocked that I had accumulated 3000 posts in just 7 months (5000 if I count my other profiles) but I like to take these little milestones as an opportunity to tell my friends just how much I appreciate them. A post count is fairly meaningless, good friends are priceless.
