Not to mention, I'm sure WDI didn't forget that wonders of life is just sitting there doing nothing, and that both innnoventions and imagination need some work done. DHS's transformation is far more then a name change What with Indiana Jones four around the corner, and from what I've heard work is being done, or has been done, or is in pre-production or something for a rehabbed Star Tours. Plus whatever is happening with the old hunchback theatre. I've also heard rumors about shows replacing both Beauty and the beast, just out of age, and Voyage of hte Little mermaid, due it's new broadway counterpart. Plus...the ratatouille coaster isn't the only possibility for more pixar attractions on Mickey Avenue. DAK is getting ready to unveil Rivers of Light, the new night parade, which, I beleive is set to debut in 09. Not to mention WDI is well aware that Africa is always overcrowded...The idea here is to make DAK a full-day experiance, rather then what it is now. Most of these are rumors, but from reletively relable sourcers. However, even if i am spot on on everything I said, which, truth be told, I can guarentee you I am not, it shows that WDI doesn't tell us everything they are thinking about. When they are ready to unveil anything, they will. Even so, I'm sure I've forgotton something...anyone else?

Originally Posted By blueharvest82 <<" there are projects for all 4 parks going on right now." Really. What's the big project going on right now in the MK? Oh yeah. Nothing. And over at DAK? Yeah, nothing. EPCOT Center did get some TLC, but most of that is done. And , oh yeah, Toy Story Mania is coming to the Studios but RatCoaster has been put on the back burner. So as of now the only thing on the horizon is TSM. With nothing planned as of yet for the 40th Anniversary. Maybe they will have a huge marketing campaign with new signs and collectable paper cups and napkins for the 40th>> There is no reason to be rude, have a pleasant evening.

This sounds like it's along the line of Sea World's Discovery Cove. Again, this is just a Wild rumor, please don't shoot the messenger.

Its an amusement park. This will turn into another useless money sucker without the cute appeal of the Pal Mickey. OK, lets move into the rumor relm. As far as epcot. Yes the rumblings about new pavilions and the fabled Mt. Fuji are back. But There are reports that the Russians aren't interested, I'll believe Mt. Fuli after an announcement. The thing has been on again off again since Epcots birth. WoL could easily sit empty for 7 years before they decide to turn it into a FutureXTreme-Playpad. The strongest EPCOT Center Rumor is the Canadian Flube/Raft thingy. But I won't count that as the rumor is still to weak. MK doesn't even have any strong rumors. DAK other than the Light Parade has a rumored C-D ticket spinner type attraction in the WEAK rumor catagory. Star Tour is in the definite rumor catagory in that the guys doing the voice tracks are done and openly talking about it at Sci-Fi cons. HSM is coming to the Hunchback theater. So the best I can come up with is that I missed 3 projects. HSM, Star Tours, and Light Parade@DAK. To Recap: MK: Nada Epcot: Nada DAK: Light Parade DHS: TSM, High School Musical, and eventually Star Tours. PS: Down the road there is Simpsons, Rumble Coaster, and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. We'll put Simpsons up againt the redone Star Tours. Rumble Coaster up against TSM. That leaves High School Musical to duke it out with Harry Potter. Good Luck with that. ;-)

Actually, since I had a very nice couple of days at WDW last month, my views about the resort have been much more "softened" if that makes sense...and if there are good things on the horizon I'd like to hear about them. I've got family in Orlando now..as good an excuse as any to visit again sometime! (no hotel lol)
Originally Posted By Mr X **I honestly don't think Disney is seriously contemplating building a fifth park. I'm assuming Animal Kingdom was a response to customers who took a day to go to Tampa (I could be wrong on that one). So, right now the only "void" other parks fill is the thrill side...like IOA and Busch. For now, I don't think that is nearly enough for them to need another park. It's enough to put stuff in like Everest, Space and Test Track to compete for that particular demographic. So our greatest hope, I think, is for SeaWorld or Universal (or some other company?) to come up with a new idea that is so cool, and so innovative, that Disney needs to build another park to compel visitors to stay on property. We should be looking at what others are doing first I think, to find clues as to whether or not Disney will bother with a fifth park anytime on the horizon. I did read somewhere (perhaps just internet BS, I dunno) that WDW property was equipped to handle SEVEN full parks at "build out". (how cool would THAT be ).

I don't see why it wouldn't be open normal hours in any case.
