Plus how would they spin this as something to get excited about when they just announced a new parade, fireworks, and WOC? There will be some new signs and paint on the building and some new concrete under your feet?

I think they made a typo, I'm assuming they were talking about the Fireworks, not the parade. What I like about the Fireworks is instead of looking up in one spot to watch the fireworks, the show will literally be all around you. And I LOVE not having to be right in center view of the castle, or anywhere near mainstreet at all, it sounds like.

The wall looks temporary and stylistically unlike anything else in the Haunted Mansion. This has led a lot of fans to speculate that it’s a temporary addition, likely hiding the new home or staging area for the long-rumored return of the Hat Box Ghost."

New parade!" I'm sure they'll get the word out eventually, but for now it's a tough message to sell, especially since the final product hasn't been installed yet so they don't really have visuals to show us

I know that not everyone gets excited about parades, but the debut of Paint the Night is going to be a big deal.
Originally Posted By monorailblue <<more people viewed the MSEP at DL each day than any single attraction>> Not necessarily. In the early 90's, regular park hours were 8 a.m. to 1 a.m. in the summer. On an early entry day, most Attractions were open for 18 hours. Pirates has a capacity of more than 50,000 Guests during an 18 hour work day. Most parade viewing areas are not deep--and in the early 90s, the Light Magic viewing was not yet complete--so viewing areas were even smaller than they are now in some spots. Although the parade route seems long, it does not accommodate 25,000 people.

This explains why the event was held so late in the day.

But whatever, I think this show will be a hit despite the pop Disney Channel/American Idol sounding theme music.
