Maybe we'll actually get to see that hundred foot water projected Neil Patrick Harris!

Looking back at the concept art, it sort of showed sparkly roofs, but I thought that was just taking some artistic liberties. As it is now, I can't say that I particularly like this look, but it seems like it will require another complete refurbishment of the castle after the 60th, so I suppose that's good news

I know they do need some in-park rehearsals, but I would imagine that they do most of their work backstage during daytime, since it's an existing production

Then again, if they were bringing in new performers, they may need to rehearse for them. I know that Fantasmic! semi-routinely does full rehearsals (costumes, make-up, effects, watercraft, pyro, etc) to help acclimate new performers before they go out in front of guests

It's particularly noticeable in the second photo, where you can see the halfway-completed roof over the chapel area

I question the wisdom of this approach, since it can't be good for the real roof underneath it. It just seems like it's asking for some serious water damage to occur; I've even wondered about how good the much shorter Christmas installation is for the roof. They recently removed the fake snow from the roof of the Frozen meet & greet, and there was some pretty noticeable damage left behind; I'd hate to see the castle get a similar fate

I also wonder if it will have lights embedded in it, like at Christmas...

That would require rain, wouldn't it? :)

Judging from the WDWMagic pictures Ferret posted, I'm torn. The small tower looks good, but the bigger roof looks a bit cheap. Maybe we have to wait until the whole thing is done.
