Its like he'd never tasted anything good in his life so he's stuck with these terrible choices.

Green Bean Casserole was my first introduction to green beans as a child. And I was so traumatized by the event that I hated green beans until 2 years ago when I decided to make fresh green beans for myself and realized that they taste nothing like that awful casserole! I had been hiding from poor green beans for years because I thought they tasted like that mess I was served one fateful Thanksgiving. For shame, Green Bean Casserole!

We never had green bean casserole growing up, don't know why. A couple of years ago DS#1's girlfriend brought it to Thanksgiving and it low and behold it had been missed by many new in laws during Thanksgiving at my house. Who knew?

Although it has, and I'm sure will be again, served at my Thanksgiving table. I am on Lisann's team as I wouldn't prepare it myself or ask anyone to bring it.

I think I need to go find dinner now. I wonder where I can find potato casserole or the very yummy GBC?
