There will be a restaurant downstairs where the Food and Fun Center is called The Wave.

The temporary(?) quick serve is taking up the area around the DVC booth on the 4th floor, I was told that would extend towards the Outer Rim. But we'll see what it looks like, it's supposed to be done in a few weeks.

I wasn't as impressed the last time I went - and this is a place I've enjoyed for years. So I ended up cancelling my September reservation and picked up Kona instead.

as far as Chef Mickey's -- we went there for dinner the night we arrived -- and while I would say the food was good - it did not hold a candle to a few of the other buffets we ended up doing as we saw way mpore characters ( via meals) than usual since my young nieces were travelling with us.....

Crystal Palace was better / and Boma was far better for similar $

Chef Mickeys used to be terrific, but the salad bar was ravaged when I was there a couple of months ago, and didn't get better during the meal The food was okay, and the chocolate mousse cake that had been a staple for many years was gone. I did enjoy the soup, that is one thing I remember as being very good (but then again, so it is at Trails End - and they are much cheaper).

I a glad otherwise that they (CM's and probably the buffets in general) are doing more smaller desserts, since I tend to cut pieces in half or a third before I take them.
