I LOVE the Friday the 13th films and even went to a screening of the original at a local cinema here!

I actually thought that the techno version of Baroque Hoedown was nicely weaved in. Maybe Disney is stuck in a bit of a rut, but I prefer having a few little callbacks among the Pixar/Frozen-era stuff.

Most other things I'd say are just "ditto"ing others on this parade. The Tink and Mickey floats are by far the most charming. The cool 3D effect with the lit-up balls inside the Cars truck were neat as well.

The "painting" effect was COMPLETELY lost on our crowd. Only a handful of kids had the wands, and they had no idea what to do with them. When Ariel declared "Wasn't that fun???" after it ended, I thought, "Was it?"

I think in Tokyo it would work great. In California maybe, though the best thing might be passholders building a up a critical mass for lots of paintbrushes... but at that point, how will anyone know it's "their" color?
