ORDDU: Main Street USA utilizes Exposition Hall for meeting Mickey so that's one more.

ORWEN: Adventureland has Tinkerbell inside the former Restaurant that I think used to be the Adventureland Veranda.

ORDDU: Both Frontierland and Tomorrowland have NO regular indoor meet and greets. Any characters you might find there are outdoors and don't take up potential attraction space.

ORWEN: So maybe it's not so bad after all with a total of 6 indoor spots--except I still miss the Snow White dark ride and wish it hadn't been turned into a character meet and greet.

Ride-based attractions have much higher hourly throughput (how many families can Cinderella actually greet in an hour?) and a more broad appeal. I'm not saying that meet & greets have no place in the park, but they should be worked in around the bigger infrastructure

As we've seen in DL with their and Rapunzel's station in the old Christmas shop and Pixie Hollow, they can put a permanent meet & greet in nearly any small corner in the park and it will do just fine. For practical reasons, the ones in WDW need to be indoors or covered, which is fine, but there's really no reason that they need a space as large as the old SW darkride.

Even though I'd much rather see it return to a restaurant, I think the Tink location in Adventureland is a wise use of space. MK is full of shuttered shops and restaurants, so there are plenty of places that characters can be added to the experience, without taking anything away. I guess that's what it boils down to for me: as long as they're not taking away another ride or attraction (or large theater venue like DL's Fantasyland Theater), I'm all for adding them in
