And now they are trying to charge $600+/night for 3 star hotels and $100/day for mindbooglingly stale offerings. Combine that with aggressive competition from Universal Orlando who is intent on blowing people's socks right off their feet. And WDW "suddenly" finds themselves in a situation. When I can stay at a nicer resort for $400/night less than WDW's and enjoy brand new state of the art attractions, it really does become a no brainer for anyone except for the most pixie dust addled fanbois.

The difference being that the 'normal' angle isn't 0, it will be shifted one way or another; it will continue to swing (assuming that it isn't 'maxed out' to either side), but will be skewed the entire way I would also think that most kids probably have a parent, so as long as they can instruct guests to alternate sides, the cars should hang reasonably level. And considering what the cars themselves weigh, I don't think the guests will have a huge impact on the angle of the things. No, it won't be perfect, but I think they can manage

So, you got one project in the entire 4 park system happening. And everything else speculation and rumors ... for things that won't even open to close to decade's end. So I'M laughable??? HUHH!

I find it pretty amazing that they are about to start another huge project 1 year after the billion dollar makeover. Disney can still bring it, and is in Anaheim.

"To Han's credit ... when adding up the "total" of WDW .. and all it has to offer ... I can see his points about "Uni vs. WDW" discussions." I understand the audience and climate here, so maybe I'm just acting out because I'm frustrated. Apparently I'm not the only one here who views the endless Disney/Universal comparisons as silly and pointless though. And what's up with the "Disney fanboi" insults (on a Disney fan site of all places)? Aren't we supposed to be here to discuss Disney parks? "HOWEVER ... the defensive of Disney can only go so far .. when it's obvious one company is doing a "Walt" .. while the original does exactly the opposite of what Walt didn't ever want to see happen in his company - "rest on our laurels"." No one is defending Disney, especially not me. What I'm doing is calling BS on fans who continually beat the war drums on a fictitious Disney/Universal rivalry. It's juvenile. "So I'M laughable???" In a sense, yes. Dean, it comes across as slightly unhinged and a little over the top when you write a dramatic mini dissertation just to make a simple point. I know you well enough to know that you're passionate about this stuff, so stop it with the "who me?" act.

Over a company I was once enthralled with for years, just to now see them become lazy as far as WDW is concerned. Now, low and behold ... Universal has stepped up their game, and I'm really, really impressed. And what it's doing, it's compounding my outlook on WDW. It's rather sad.

If one is looking for new experiences to get "Wowed" over ... it's not exactly happening at the business with the black mouse ears as it's logo. Your travels will actually take you north of that property. lol

I'm well aware of that, but in case you haven't noticed I've outgrown the rhetorical proclomations over the years and mostly accept that Disney may not be as flawless as it used to be and try to maintain a sense of humor when discussing the parks. Repeatedly bitching and moaning here while slyly taunting and teasing people who still find joy in the place is pointless.

I guess you can consider IOA to be pretty special and even maybe good competition for WDW, but as a whole Disney still wins. Who else really talks about any of the other Universal properties? you cant pay half the people to even visit the Hollywood location and you think when Potter comes Disneyland will be shaking it it's boots? HA! It's great that Uni Orlando and IOA are doing well, but the other properties are lacking greatly.
