When we go to DL he know ALL the rides and characters.

My goddaughter who is older watches classic movies with us when she spends the night. All the old black and whites.
I don't let her choice, I pick and we watch. I usually tell her a story about the first time I watched it or what I want her to learn or what scene is cool.

    heh, heh, heh.,

The old technology fascinates the younger group.... the kid ( 20 years old) that was at my house building my new home computer ( from hand picked components) noticed my rack system in the room and when I show him how LP's played, I swear he was stunned.

PHeewwwwww---tired just thinking of logistics of getting to hospital for next kid in 2 months.

My son is the same way with his movie choices, but he knows all the classics from the book club. This month Peter Pan and Mulan.

I DID read all the classics to the kids when they were pre-reading age like Mulan (my favorite) and the other hundred or so.

When I was a kid I used to watch the same movies literally in rotation throughout the day, but I was a reading machine. I still pretty much watch the same movies in rotation and well... I'm still a reading machine... You should give your kids a pat on the back for knowing what a book IS let alone actually reading them. Reading books is a lost art now-a-days....
