The closed eating places...most of them are counter service. When I was there last September most of them were closed in spite of crowds bigger than I have ever seen before. Since I don't make ressie's I was planning on eating at one of the counter areas. My feeling is that $8 for a burger has a pretty good profit margin built in and yet there was no place to spend it that didn't have an hour wait to get in line and another half hour to be able to sit. So, what did I do. Went back to my car and went off-site to eat. Sometimes I returned, sometimes I didn't. A lot of the "counter service" areas just plain have a lousy menu to choose from. In some cases "nasty" in my opinion and when I tried sit downs I was told...nope, ressies only. Fortunately, other places outside of WDW were more than happy to take my money. Having been an accountant for many years, it pains me to say that sometimes their heads are way, way embedded in their backsides.

My common response is "I can't buy what you don't sell, so see ya"!

As for PI, I went to it once, saw Comedy and Adventurers and nothing else made me even tempted to enter. It's was closed in the daytime anyway, so the only ones that see anything different are those that went to PI regularly and apparently there wasn't enough of them to keep it going. That's what happens when the phrase "If you don't like it don't go is used to much. They don't go, and neither do you because it gets closed.

I think that Adventurers was a good attraction but I only had a desire to see it once, after that it became a cult type attraction and someone would nurse a beer all evening without spending what the place needed to stay open. A labor intensive show...lot's of costs...less income = gone!
