Restock the mediocre fried chicken instead of just setting a bunch out right after breakfast. Serve meat with a little gristle, instead of vice versa. We often end up at the Best Western next door, with coupons for a free breakfast at Captain Kidd. As time goes on, we are more likely to skip it. When something free isn't a good value, that's a bad sign.

Plenty of coffee and juice, several kinds of cereal and instant oatmeal, toast, doughnuts and pastries. What you save on breakfast you can spend on churros in the park.
