Pee-Wee's Big Adventure did tell me how to protect myself if I'm about to be jumped by a gang... :)

I've seen the HBO special a few times on HBO Comedy, so they DO show it every now and again.

I also remember the action figures and playsets for it as well.

Anyone notice how Globey got a facelift during the show's run? It went from a detailed face to beady eyes and a big nose. I also remember when the Toyshelf was replaced by the USA-shaped clock, and the debut of Floory (or whatever his name was).

I was a bit bummed that they've edited the opening -- it's only about 30 seconds or something, while the original is good 2-3 minutes.

You Tube has the whole opening sequence if you need to see it.

TVLand was also airing Pee-Wee's Big Adventure last night. For some reason, the 'hosts' of TVLand Big Movie Night (or whatever it's called) are spoofs of the Danish (Norwegian?) duo Danni y Armi and their video for Love You Tender (check YouTube).
