The VAST majority of Christians are against abortion and for the death penalty. People agasint the death penalty have blood on their hands because these people who should have been executed have killed others in prison and have orchastrated killings on the outside of prison. This is innocent life lost due to letting this person live. What do you say about that? <<Some of us worry about killing innocent people, regardless of how "statistically insignificant" that person is. >> Hey Shooba, everyone worries about killing innocent people. But funny a liberal like yourself isn't concerned about killing an innocent baby who is a month or two from delivered?? See the irony once again when you look at a liberals point of view? I guess we should shut all roller coasters down because we are worried someone might die. This makes about as much sense as stopping the death penalty due to some poooor innocent guy who guts the needle.

Yes, that happens ALL the time, don't you know? And it IS the fault of people against the death penalty, we should kill 'em all cos a life in prison is just party, party, party.

So to say I'm not "concerned" is a flat-out-lie, but what else is new. I'd love to see a world where birth control & self-responsibility negate the need for abortions, but I doubt it will ever happen.

If it's such a problem I'm sure you can give me 6 ot 7 innocent people from the last 100 years or so. Not to long ago some dude who people claimed was an innocent executed man was found guilty by modern DNA evidence. Whoops...

The death penalty is moral if and only if: 1. the guilty party's identity and responsibility have been *fully determined* AND 2. this is the only possible way of effectively defending human lives against the unjust aggressor. That's it. That's the standard. Your standard is much, much lower because life is cheap to you. Admit it.

The left just can't quite seem to grap this. It's why the very eveil people they try to protect come back to kill innocent people througout history.

Guess that makes me a real jerk. Tell ya what, while you protect the Tookie Williams of the world, I will focus on protecting the baby who is 8 months along who is about to have it's brains ripped out. Deal?

You know what St. Paul did before he was converted? How about St. Christopher? People who commit heinous crimes need to repent and believe in Christ so they can be saved. If you deny this, you CANNOT be a Christian. In God's sight, you and I are no better than a murderer. We're ALL sinners who deserve eternal hell.
