I know I'm going to upset some people here but when people create threads like this and go all drama queen about leaving it makes me question their motives. I know of several LPers who take a break from time to time and a handful who have done so permanently. Whether it was World Events, DCA, WDW or the sometimes inane stuff that goes on in Trip Planning its okay to just back off. Go do something different. Open up a yahoo, gmail or hotmail account and list that address in your LP profile. If people are concerned about why you aren't around, they can contact you and you can explain off the boards who is ticking you off. Come back to LP in a couple months; take longer if you think it will help. If LP continues to give you grief then maybe you should move on. Life is short; why spend time on something that doesn't make you happy.

Others lurk, (I can name a few) and pokes in once and awhile. Others (I can think of at least 2) get busy with College for example.

Stay true to your core values/beliefs and stay away from the dark side, whether it's at World Events (for lame-o's like me out there) or any other area. So This Is Lame xoxox

Speaking for myself, starting Friday the 9th, I'll be away for at least ten days, if not more. I'll be in Phoenix going to Spring Training, helping Lou Piniella run the Cubs. That kind of a break is good for not only me but this place as well.

WE doesn't do much for LP. And I find if I leave it alone for at least two weeks I don't feel much like posting there anyway. I'd never say I was leaving it, because as sure as I do a topic will come up that I want to discuss, but I'm definitely not spending the time there I used to. What brings everyone here together is a love of the magic of Disney - whether it be the parks, or movies or plays. We may have different opinions even there on how things are best done, but it is something at the core of this site.
