Nothing too earth-shattering, but it sure looks like it will be well detailed

It looks so detailed, and fun. It highlights the exact differences between Disney and most theme parks that makes Disney such a better experience for me and my family.

Is it earth shattering? No. But I can't really think of any ride that is, and this one sure looks like it'll be fun and would be a definite can't miss if we were WDW regulars. I wish it was being built in DL!

It adds a layer of authenticity to the illusions and makes for a more complete experience.

Disney does this better than anyone -- many other parks don't even try. My recent visit to Carsland was such a joy, I spent forever just admiring the level of detail everywhere. Little pebbles at the foot of Cadillac Range that would have been caused by erosion, rust stains, lighting effects, signage -- every corner was packed with believable illusions.

Looks like the Mine Coaster will carry on that tradition once again. And the ride looks like a very fun "first" coaster a whole family can enjoy together.

So do I, but imagine the global uproar if DL removed an old "classic" like Storybook Land for this attraction. People would lose their minds.

No. the point you tried to make was to make everyone believe TDL is all about cloned rides but proven wrong by Leemac's more objective and grounded facts comment, so why back pedal now? I will go one step further and say you sound sincerely happy that the stinker current management at TDR is lowering the quality of TDL to the abysmal lows of the MK at WDW. Luckily for those of us who visit TDR regularly, we can argue that many other aspects of the park (staffing levels, cleanliness/maintenance, # of rides/shops/restaurant venues and live shows/entertainment still SURPASSES anything WDW does now a days, regardless of the rides being the same or not, and still looking in better shape, than those lifted from the MK.

On a side note, Universal Studios Japan is basically a copy of Universal Orlando and features the same exact rides, with some new ones as well. And the park itself looks like a much better themed version of Orlando's USF. So OLC is not the only company to be blamed for cloning theme park experiences and environments.

Move Roger Rabbit to Hollywood Land in DCA.

The Motor Boat Cruise Smoking Lounge area could be removed and revamped to accommodate a dwarf coaster, or Frozen attraction (the Matterhorn snowy alpine feel would tie in nicely with a Frozen area I'd think.)

    Let Storybook Land be!

How do the the Monorail and Peoplemover tracks fit in?
