Right now they are behaving like the local **** that needs to keep you addicted to the cheap stuff and get your future generations hooked on the stuff too. I am sorry to say something so harsh and critical.

Ha!<<

Especially when you consider how much those tract homes cost. You can buy houses in the country club neighborhoods in flyover country for those prices.

It has fallen off our list for this very reason.

But I don't hate AP holders. Why should I? Is their fault that Disneyland's management decided to form its business model around them and offer relatively "cheap" APs to guarantee the parks will always be packed?

But yes, DLR SoCal APs are a bargain, even with their countless blocked days. There's a reason why they are able to sell almost a million of them every year. Go just three times and you have broken even.

I'd love to know the breakdown on how many times APers actually use their passes. I'd bet there are a lot of people who buy an AP intending to go all the time, and then only use it once. Kind of like magazines and newspapers I've subscribed to and then not read.

While I can see why APs might feel slighted or offended by some of the comments being made, I find it equally annoying that the local APers don't want to acknowledge the problems that have arisen as a result of the AP program. Without modifications (ie hard ticket "events", limiting the number of APs sold, etc.) the heavy discounting available through APs is not sustainable in keeping DL a viable operation in the tradition that people expect from Disney. You can't have your cake and eat it too.

But daytime crowds really weren't the problem. It did help the nighttime crowds quite a bit. I think it was pretty successful. More hard ticket parties!

Exactly! I couldn't care less how crowded the daytime AP crowd is, We gave up our Premium AP's after WoC opened after using it a whopping 7 times in a year. Reason: way too crowded to be enjoyable any longer.

We will, however, gladly pay $50 or so to enjoy the Christmas Season at a private night time "party" just to actually be able to enjoy the park.

OH, and I've put an extra $2000 in savings. That'll go towards my AP next year...lol!

Many APers, again NOT ALL have the attitude of im an APer so they better treat me better than those day guests. Trust me ive seen it daily! Is it disneys fault for allowing so many, probably, is it their fault for the attitude, no! its the inidviduals responsibilty for their attitude and not disneys.

The people who go out of their way to complain because they didn't get an extra 5% off are just idiots and don't deserve to enjoy the parks if they're gonna get that picky. that's just my opinion, i am very polite to CMs and I definitely don't think I own the place, and neither do most of the APers...I don't know where you're getting that from.

Halloween, two friends who took kids told me they thought it was "nice", but did not want their kids loaded with candy and were concerned about "questionable" costumes, both said they saw more than a couple slutty versions of Disney characters.

Monday, 22nd, went with a friend... see the parade and fireworks arrived it seems, too late for a place to see parade, it was amazingly crowded. Long waits for dinner everywhere. Long lines in restaurants and shops... looked like Disney is the hot spot.

i did say Not all, but some in my post. and i have plenty of experiances with people who have APs and there are so many nice ones, don't get me wrong but there are so many who try to abuse the system and try to use their AP as an excuse daily.

That way once the 400k mark is reached no new passes are sold until someone does not renew.
