Meanwhile, the Magic Kingdom Park still had tired old Halloween decorations of ratty hay bales and aged corn cob pipe scarecrows plopped in front of the Magic Kingdom, and it looked like TDO had stolen the decorations from a local Junior High school's Harvest Festival in the cafeteria. As a topper, they went to WalMart and bought a few dozen small pumpkins and threw them into the planters for festivity. Really tacky, and cheap, and ratty looking. A few years later Magic Kingdom Park got a cloned set of the same Halloween decorations they'd been using at Disneyland. I just hope they gave the scarecrows back to the Junior High cafeteria in Kissimmee. I have every faith that TDA will do a nice job with this Jingle Cruise thing, and I can't imagine anyone ever considered having the natives Rock Around The Christmas Tree as an option for this one.

It sounds like the decorations themselves will only be in the boathouse (the "civilized" area), while the ride itself will only have new jokes And on the bright side, Adventureland was one of the few areas of the park to not get Christmas decorations, so it will be fun to see what they come up with. Maybe in another year or two, we can start seeing some 60's-chic aluminum trees in Tomorrowland!

You could see the Matterhorn on a normal day from miles away, and you could see that lit star from a LONG way away.
