    They were doing a soft open last weekend when I was at the park, so I got to ride it. I thought the jokes were pretty weak. I hate to say that because the guy in the Parks Blog video is the son of a friend of mine. He won a skipper competition a few years ago as a top skipper and got to go to Tokyo to train their skippers to be more like Disneyland's skippers. His mom has a great sense of humor, which he takes after I'm told, so I sort of suspect that there may have been some corporate "interference" with the joke selection. The decorations are fun. But, for the overlay to be what it really should be, they need some stronger jokes and puns.

It looks like they might have filmed this right after they dumped some extra dye in the water, or on a day where the sun hits it just right to make it look odd, but overall it looks the same as it always does

    Went on this yesterday. Not very much of a difference between this and the non-Christmas one. Maybe only three jokes were holiday-related, but the rest is still pretty much the old Jungle Cruise. No changes with the animals on the ride either. The names of the boats were funny (e.g. Yule Kissimmee, Suwani(sp?) Sleigh).
