If you've been reading his columns all along, the answer to your question will be more clear. If not, you might want to check him out for yourself. But Mr. Lutz merely reports what he has heard from sources whom he trusts. It should always be understood--at the outset--that his reports are merely rumors or speculation that is fed to him by others. Therefore, it's ridiculous to accuse him of 'lying' or making things up to fit some sort of imagined agenda. He's like your best friend who confides little secrets he has heard. But that doesn't mean all that he heard is necessarily true or going to take place. It's all done in fun and shouldn't be taken as seriously as some seem to want to.

Supposedly he's not as hysterically anti-disney as he used to be, but considering he basically spat when he said the word Disney before, it's not that hard to be less hostile to the company and its employees and its fans. Basically, he hates the place, hates the fans, and hates anyone who disagrees with him. He covers this over by saying he loves it, and people stupidly buy into this. He recently went off about anyone who doesn't follow his ideas as "defenders of mediocrity." He also has in the past slagged off on the number of Mexicans at Disneyland, which is an odd thing for him to do. Just an unpleasant character, but people seem to like reading this stuff, so you may wish to give it a try.

I didn't see anyone else detailing out the plans for DCA for the past 2 years. I didn't see anyone else talking about Pirate's Lair before Lutz broke the story. He has insider information.
