I too like a drink once in a while but that totally turned me off anything at the parks.

It's unfortunate that some people just can't behave in public. But I don't see the need to punish everyone for the misdeeds of the few.

This reminds me of an experience I had with my 5 year old Princess. We were waiting to get into the Mary Poppins Tea at PP Hotel. When they opened the doors a 300lb 50ish lady pushed my 5 year old out of the way to get to the front of the line because she was trying to get a Mary Poppins Tea Pin. Alcohol wasn't even a part of it. This particular bovine beauty just wanted a pin.

I'm guessing the three walked away from the dining area unnoticed. That's something Disney should definitely be more diligent about. Even the chance of broken glass in a walkway is uncool.

I don't know if that holds true for stronger spirits or not. You can also do this in the Florida parks other than the MK. It's great to get a martini to go and sip as you're enjoying IllumiNations.

As much as I enjoy a drink at DCA, once I leave the bar/restaurant, I really have no desire to carry one with me when I go back to doing "kid stuff."

Anyway, note that our OP hasn't bothered to come back and post. Why do people do stuff like that? LOL

I'm like you, mele... fun and mellow (and often silly) when I drink. Never nasty, rude or hurtful.

Are you sure about that? Besides the risk of broken glass, there's the expense of the glass itself. When I got wine at the Trattoria, it was in a fairly nice glass. Seems to me they wouldn't want those getting taken.
