We wound up leaving for the calmer surroundings of DCA, where, surprise, alcohol is readily available. Most people can have a drink and maintain self control. It adds to a nice meal at millions of restaurants around the world, mostly without incident. It really is quite silly that at the Blue Bayou wine isn't available for adults.

Until the morning after. ; )

The addition of alcohol to DL won't mean you'll be forced to drink it. You can continue to abstain from alcohol if you so wish, and it won't mean that the park will be overrun with drunken mobs either. The small percent who can't control themselves with alcohol with already be drunk when arriving at the park, and no one is going to pay $50 plus per person to eat somewhere just to get access to alcohol. I guarantee you, there would be zero noticable difference to you 99.99% of the time.
