Sleep deprived drivers are one of the main causes of accidents, especially with regard to professional drivers. Truckers who don't take enough breaks during their long hauls are hazards on the interstate, as are bus or cab drivers who are working two or three jobs to make ends meet. Far more people drive sleepy than intoxicated, every single day. It's a serious problem that needs to be addressed before more people get injured or killed.
