They thought I was kidding at first, but soon realized I wasn't. It took four teenaged kids to pull that snake off me. I can only imagine how much harder (impossible?) that would have been to do if he'd been coiled around and around my neck. <shudder>

Originally Posted By RAM1984 If one does find onesself constricted by a large snake; find the tail. Unwinding by the tail is fairly easy, grabbing the head makes them want to tighten their grip. (Note I said "fairly easy." A big snake can be quite heavy and need several people to support it during unwinding.)
