I do all the cleaning, washing, ironing, gardening, diy etc. If he is on a day off he does the cooking. He enjoys it....I dont.lol.

I run around walking my boys to school/nursery

BUT TOMORROW MY 4 YEAR OLD STARTS SCHOOL.ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. So they will both be in the same place! So I will do around 12 miles a week less walking! Oh dear. Better stop eating chocolate so often I think.

His last school was NOT one he could walk home from.
I would like to get a job with full-time pay and benefits at 30 hours a week, but I suspect it will be at LEAST 40.

I am salaried, so no OT or DT.

I wish I made more money for my hours, or least get some recognition for my availability to my clients.

It's been about two years since I started working from home, and it's such different world! Sooo less stressful, lol.

Bloona, that's incorrect. What you need to say is: I don't work outside the home.

My children are grown. But I like to call myself semi-retired. The deal is, I am supposed to keep the house and prepare meals. Sometimes I put in a 16 hour day sometimes 0. So it is definately open to interpretation. I like being available to my kids and my grandkids.

Oh, yeah, my hours at Dell are 0700-1600 M-F and not looking to change anytime in the forseeable future. Days like today stink becuase I only took 15 min for lunch, but cool that I got some OT, I guess...

I work some overtime through out the year, maybe a total of seventy to eighty hours a year.

I like the amount of time that I work. It's nice having every other Friday for myself. I wouldn't want to work anymore hours, as that would be too emotionally draining. I wouldn't want to work any less as I would get bored pretty quickly.
