Then I said something to her about reading it. She was livid! I thought "who cares and if she didn't want people to read it, why was it still at our parents house instead of in her possession?" I don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing, but I still feel like that. I would never do it again though! On a different level, I have checked the history on our computer to see what sites C.J. has been on. I don't feel guilty about that since I've had good reason!

She did stuff like that all the time. I'd admit it if I deserved to be watched like that. I did not. But even after all of that, I would still go through my children's belongings if I thought it was necessary. It's my job to help them if they need it. But I would be looking for really dangerous behaviors, not the things my mom was looking for. Actually, I have gone through my children's rooms, but only to find missing silverware or library books. I once kept a mini journal of a road trip I took. I started out all into it but by the third day the entries got smaller and smaller until by the last day all that was entered was the weather. I guess I do not have to worry about any of my secrets accidentally getting out and whomever writes my biography is going to have a nightmare research project on their hands.
