The other was in '03 when I had a blood clot lodged in an artery behind my right knee. I couldn't walk, my right foot was gray and cold, and I darned near lost it. Very painful.

Once or twice a year I get migraines that make me so ill that my stomach gets really upset. The pain is bad enough to scare me. I try not to let the pain get that bad, though. Lately, I can take OTC meds and my migraine goes away. Before that, sleep was the only way to get rid of one. (Kind of a nice change, I'd say.)

The pain is horrendous. It usually last about 5 minutes but many times I thought I might pass out (never did). My feeling is if this pain isn't as bad as labor pain then I have no idea how anyone would ever have more than one child and my hat's off to all you ladies.

No Doctor has been able to diagnose the problem and the only Doctor that has ever witnessed it has only been able to say.."Oh my, that looks like it might hurt". You think?? I personally think it is related to my time in Vietnam and exposure to either Agent Orange or the pesticide fog that they used to use every week. Man that stuff was rancid.

Anyway, that's my story. I don't want to feel sorry for myself but my problem is that if anything actually did happen that needed immediate attention, I'm not sure I would know it. I sometimes have them in my chest muscles as well.

And I had one baby without drugs, and twins in 2 different ways. Childbirth, labor, and recovery were bad but not as bad as the nerve pain.

For me it's a tie between spraining my knee skiing (there's no such thing as an "not that bad black diamond") and having a sofa sleeper slam shut on my finger, my only broken bone.

So he was fasinated it was in such a young woman and he wanted to keep it for his collection.

    Yeah thanks for that! LOL

With these clients, I can definitely say ouch. (Politically correct Canada, patient puts the power with the healthcare professional and client with the person seeing the professional).
