    3. Having my little finger pulled straight after I dislocated it and broke it in 2 places (it looked like the zorro sign, it concertina'd up when I fell on the edge of a pavement)

    For me, hm, it's a tie between childbirth - I had a spinal given by a baaad resident (that really hurt) and the anesthesia wore off before the doctor actually stiched me up :-(

    and foot/leg neuropathy. Although I have mental excersizes to help with that.

    My most painful time was either when I broke my leg in 32 places in a skating accident (then I broke my arm 8 hours later when falling from the crutches).

    Or when I feel of off a stage into the orchestra pit and my ear came off.

    Both were very painful!

    Major ouch, abnd I do hope you won't think less opf me for this, Dave, but in hindsight, surely you can see that as being a wee bit funny, right?
